Kristin Henry

Kristin Henry is a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is also a certified Trauma Treatment Specialist. She has been in the medical field for over 25 years. She has a master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and completed her post-graduate education in psychiatric nursing at Frontier Nursing University. She provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults with various psychiatric conditions. She prides herself in having a relaxed, non-judgmental, calm demeanor that makes patients feel comfortable. She has a holistic approach that utilizes nonpharmacological techniques in addition to prescribing the minimum amount of medications needed for a therapeutic/stable outcome. Sometimes this even means de-prescribing medications when necessary. Kristin views the provider/patient relationship as a team and is there to guide and empower the patient in safe decision-making. She enjoys spending time with her family, spending time in nature, walking her dog and cooking healthy, plant-based meals.
